London Olympics 2012: Men's Road Cycling

Shoes - New Look
Top - Topshop
Shorts - H&M
Hey guys! So yesterday I went to watch the Men's Road Cycling race with my family and it was so much fun! We decided to make a day of it so we took lots of food and had a little picnic. We 'camped out' for about 3 hours before the racers all came flooding into the park and down the road. 3 hours was a long time to wait there but the atmosphere was great and it was totally worth it!
I took a few photos throughout the day but one thing I didn't do was an OOTD (sorry!) but hopefully you get an idea of what I wore from the last photo.
As some of you might know, tomorrow I jet off to Orlando, Florida for a two week family holiday and I am really looking forward to it! My sister and I have been counting down since January when we booked it and I am planning on doing a heck of a lot of shopping and I can’t wait to show you all what I get!
I'm not going to be posting any blog posts whilst I'm away but I may be updating my Twitter and Instagram so if you fancy seeing what I'm getting up to, follow me over there! I am going to take lots of photos and OOTD's so be expectant for when I get back!! My flight leaves at 11:40am and we are stopping through Miami and staying there for 3 hours so we'll arrive in Orlando at 19:40pm American time/ 00:40am British time which means there's a loooonnnnggggg day of travelling ahead!

I hope everyone is well and I'll see you all in two weeks!

OOTD: A Hot Summers Day

Top - Jane Norman
Skirt & Bag - H&M
Shoes - New Look

Hey guys! So today I went into town with my friend Lauren and I had a really lovely time. I thought I’d share with you what I wore! It is sooooooooo hot! It’s currently 29˚C and I have been sweating out like a pig (so attractive, I know!)
I wore this two tone, dipped hem top which mum got me from Jane Norman and I love wearing it in summer because the colours are so bright and it’s quite lightweight which is great for days like this. I wore my favourite H&M skirt and I think the two items together work quite well.
Yesterday I went to see the Olympic Torch relay and it was so fun, there were so many people and the atmosphere was great! It got me quite excited for the Olympics to start and I am definitely looking forward to the opening ceremony on Friday which is apparently going to be amazing!
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sun!

Pleats And Plaid

Shirt - H&M
Dress - Dorothy Perkins
Belt - Primark
Shoes - New Look

Hey guy! So as you can tell, I’m really loving my plaid shirts these days and I just thought I’d show you how I styled this one in today’s’ outfit.
I wore this black pleated sleeveless dress and I just threw the shirt on top in case I got cold but as you will know if you live in London, today was really hot so for most of the day I actually didn’t wear the shirt. I love the mix of colours it has and I think it is one of those items you could wear with a pair of jeans and pumps without looking too dressed down. I also wore my trusty espadrilles which are great during summer.
Apparently this week we are supposed to have a heat wave and the sun is finally going to come out which is exciting after weeks of endless rain!

I hope everyone has a great week!

Uber Casual: 1 Shirt 3 Looks

Shirt, Jeans & Sunnies - H&M
Vest Top - Topshop
Bag - River Island
Dr. Martens
Hey guys, so today was one of those days where I really wanted to blog but I was in my trackies and my hair was scraped back so I looked unacceptable for a blog post. I then decided to get dressed into something a bit more decent but still very casual so I thought I might aswell do a post :-) I know I've shown you this shirt before but it is one of my favourite staple pieces so I do reach for it quite a lot. I thought I'd do a 1 shirt 3 looks feature just to show the different ways I like to wear it. I wore my H&M sunnies because today is a no makeup day & I didn't want to scar you all! I chose to wear my doc's as they are supper comfy and I thought they added some attitude to the outfit.

I hope everyone is having a good week

My DIY Maxi Skirt OOTD

Dress - H&M
Skirt - Made it myself
Bag - ASOS
Shoes - New Look
Belt - Primark

Hey guys! Long time no blog and I honestly have no excuse, I'm sorry but I'll try to stop being a sucky blogger ha!
Anyhoo, since I made this skirt, I've been really excited to do an OOTD with it so that I can show you guys! It was soooo easy and if you want me to show you how I did it, let me know and I'll do a tutorial the next time I make one. I'm planning on making one in a mint/blue colour which would be more of a midi skirt rather than a maxi.
I love the colour of fabric I went for, I think it looks great in summer but it'll also work in winter. The skirt itself is very sheer since I used chiffon which is why I wore a maxi dress underneath. I love the detail on the back of the dress and I think it adds to the outfit.
Let me know if you like the new set up/ background of the photo's or if you prefer my little old garden backdrop :-)

I hope everyone has a lovely week!

Top & Jeans - Primark
Shoes - ASOS
Bag - Zara

Hey guys! I wore this outfit on Sunday and I thought I'd share it with you because of how much I love the top. I got this top about a year ago from Primark (can you believe it!) and I really love the burnt orange colour and its dipped hem style which is quite on trend this spring/summer. I wore the top with these basic jeans which are also from Primark just to keep it looking casual but it's one of those pieces which I think you could easily dress up.
I hope everyone is having a lovely week and I really hope this rainy weather actually brightens up! As you might be able to see from the photo's, it actually started raining when we were taking these but hey ho what can you do!
