Hey Guys!
So last week on the 16th was my 1 Year Blogging Anniversary :-) eeek! I can't believe its been a year already! I still remember the day I decided to take the plunge and start blogging. At first nobody in my 'real life' knew about it and I'm not gonna lie, I felt like a Hannah Montana wannabe trying to lead a double life...
I was re-reading my fist ever post and although I cringed (A LOT) whilst reading it, I realised how far I've come this year not just in terms of my blog but just generally in my life.
In my first couple of posts I spoke a bit about loving yourself for who you are and my second ever post was about 'Embracing your Imperfections' and think that as cliché as it sounds, blogging has helped me appreciate myself more for who I am. I have found something which I reallllyyyy enjoy doing and through it I have got to know some lovely people.
It's funny looking back at old posts but it also brings back lots of good memories. I loved looked through my Orlando Photo Diaries again because that was one amazing holiday; it seems like ages ago since I wrote my 'I've Had The Time Of My Life' post where I spoke about leaving school. I read through all the comments of all my posts again and I was overwhelmed by how nice and supportive you guys have been!

In this post, I've decided to do the generic thing which people seem to do on blog anniversaries and I have just put together some of the looks I've posted on here within my first year of blogging.

Thank you all for every single comment & for following my blog, it really does mean a lot to me! Its so weird that so much has happened and changed in such a short period of time but I'm so glad I was able to share it all with you guys and I hope I'll be having plenty more Blog Anniversaries in the future!

P.S. Sorry this post is a bit delayed, I've had exams to revise for but I've got my last one on Friday so expect a lot more after that!

Hope everyone has an amazing week!
Lots of Love,

Back to Uni

Beanie & Shirt - Primark
Barcelets & Necklace - H&M
Jeans - Forever21
Socks & Shoes - Topshop

Hey guys!
So it's Monday and I'm now back at Uni *silent dance*. I came back up on Saturday and today was my first day of lectures for the term. It's soooo nice to be back, I didn't realise how much I had missed being here until I came back and saw everyone. I still find it bazzar that this time last year I didn't know if I was going to get the grades to come to uni and I didnt know any of the people I now live with. Its so strange because I feel like I've known these guys for my whole life and I feel so lucky to be where I am with such a crazy yet amazing bunch of people. ANYWAY, enough of the soppy stuff.
As you can tell, I've had to do this post indoors and whilst I'm at Uni this is probably the easiest set-up for outfit of the day posts because I don't have my sister at hand to play the role of photographer. I could ask my flatemates to take them but I don't want to bother anyone with the following sceanareo everytime I want to blog:  "Excuse me___(insert flatmates name)___ can you please come outside in the freezing cold Northern weather with me and take photos of what I'm wearing... no? Okay. Thanx." I know they wouldn't say no because they're all lovely but this is just more convenient for me so I hope nobody minds.
Like I said, today was my first day of lectures so I decided to wear something comfortable but I didn't want to look like I'd just woke up and rolled out of bed which is a look I often go for and I'm sure that by the end of the term I'll be back to supporting that look. I might start a trend, I'll call it 'tramp-luxe'. I'm kidding... when I have a tramp day, there's nothing 'luxe' about it.
I liked the put together feel of this outfit and I think the colours all complement each other quite well. I think warm burgundy tones always look really nice with earthy greens and browns which is why I choose this particular beanie hat. I'm still in love with these Topshop shoes and I wear them almost everyday but I felt that with the socks they created a more preppy look rather than grungy which I really like.

As I'm writing this, I'm listening to All Time Low's 'Nothing Personal' album and it takes me back to when I was in Secondary School. One of my best friends was obsessed with them and she would always try to get the rest of us into them but I was too much of a POP gal and I thought her music was too Rock and Roll for me so I didn't really give it a chance. It was only when I got older I started listening to the songs on the album she lent me and I really liked them. Another album she lent me which I love is Endgame by Rise Against. Oh my how I do love that album! It's one of those I can just blast on and it makes me feel like headbanging until I loose feeling in my neck... yea.
If anyone has any good music recommendations please write them in the comments section because I no longer have a narrow 'pop music for the win' mind-frame and I'm really eager to discover new music from all genres.
Last night I watched The Ugly Truth which is such a good film! I just came across it on Film 4 and I didn't really expect it to be that good but it was actually really funny and cute. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a sucker for a good Rom-Com. 'Love Actually' is on tonight at 10pm on ITV2 if anyone is interested which is one of my all time fav's. I might watch it on ITV2+ because it clashes with 'What Happens in Kavos' which also clashes with 'Celebrity Big Brother'... oooh what to watch!? Yes I admit my TV taste is pretty rubbish but I genuinely find these kind of shows and films entertaining so don't judge me. To be honest, I shouldn't be watching any TV because I've got a Marketing exam on Friday which I need to be revising for! I'm such an expert procrastinator which explains why I'm writing this unnecessarily long blog post instead of revising.

I wish I could just do the whole University thing minus the work and still get a good degree...

I hope everyone is well and hope you all have a good week! If anyone has January exams GOOD LUCK!! We will get through this together.

Hey Guys!
So today is Sunday and Sunday is Church day. Often on a Sunday I'll go to Church in the morning then into town for a bit of shopping or a coffee afterwards with my sister. I usually get changed before heading into town because I like to dress more casual and not look as dressed up as I do for Church. I thought I'd show you how today I styled two different looks featuring the same skirt. They are both quite simple but one is clearly more casual and the other much smarter.
So outfit one is what I wore to Church and as we left the house my sister said I looked like I was off to work at a bank in Central London ha! I went for a monochrome colour scheme as I feel you can never go wrong with black and white.
I wore outfit two when we went into town and I felt that wearing the trainers and the plain tee instantly dressed down the midi skirt. I wore a denim jacket over this outfit as it was quite nippy outside and I feel this toned down the look even further.
I'm sorry for the rubbish lighting in these photos, it was quite a gloomy day and we just had to work with what we had.

Oh yea, I've got long hair again!

I hope everyone is well & hope you all have a good week!!

Hola 2013

Top, Shoes & Socks - Topshop
Jeans - Forever 21
Coat - ASOS
Bag - Zara

Hey Guys!
Happy belated New Year!!! I hope everyone had an amazing new years and a great start to 2013! I actually cannot believe it's not longer 2012, time has gone by so fast and it's strange to think it's nearly a year since I started blogging, crazyyy! Last year was such a big year for me, there were a few lows but there were way more highs and it was truly amazing but I have faith that 2013 is going to be even better!
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." - Proverbs 3:5-6

Yesterday I went on a bit of a shopping trip for some retail therapy with my sister I picked up quite a few exciting items which I'm sure you'll see soon in upcoming outfits!
I wore this coat which is actually a new purchase itself and I got it from good old ASOS. I know loads of people are really over the whole camo/army trend but I'm still quite into it even though every girl and her mother owns a jacket/coat similar to this. I chose this particular coat because I liked the details of it such as the drawstring waist and long lapels. I kept the rest of the outfit simple and just wore some jeans and the Topshop shoes I showed you in my last post which I cannot stop wearing! I am soo in love with them and I think the fact that I got them for only £7 makes wearing them that much sweeter!

Once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I hope you are all well & I hope everyone has a good weekend!!
Lots of Love
