Hey Guys!
So I was going to do a little mini forecast of the upcoming trends which I have taken a liking to for SS14 but as I started composing my collage, I found that I was just subconsciously gravitating to everything which was of a monochrome colour palette. Typical! So instead I thought I'd just put together a post of some of the monochrome pieces I have fallen for! I may continue to do this for different trends over the next few weeks if you guys like it!

I think that a couple of the items on my list (such as the Chunky boots and the A-line tartan skirt) are going to become blogger cult items and everyone is going to be blogging about them  but nevertheless I still love them.
How gorgeous is the ASOS two piece?! I think its stunning and if I was going to LFW that's the type of outfit I would probably go for. I love how crisp and clean it looks! I would style it with some strappy heeled sandals and an oversize envelop clutch then wear a bright coloured nail varnish for a pop of colour.

I've recently started re-reading a book called 'THE VALUE OF NOTHING' by Raj Patel and I would definitely recommend. If you've read any of the 'freakonomics' books then I think you'll really enjoy it!

"Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing."
This is one of my favourite quotes by Oscar Wilde which the book refers to from The Picture of Dorian Grey; it pretty much sums up what the book is about.
I know it's a bit of a geeky read but I really enjoy it and if you like business or political literature then it would be a great book to delve into!

Skirt - Primark
Tartan Throw Over - Thrifted
Boots•Rings - H&M
Bag - Zara

Hey Guys!
I know this outfit is nothing special but really felt like just getting a post up!
Valentina and I had a little walk around campus on the weekend and we found a cute little spot by the lake where we took these photos. It feels as if when I'm at Uni I spend all of my time either in my flat, in a lecture theatre or in the Library so I tend to forget how beautiful our campus is!
This term I have been determined to get myself really organised and since my workload has increased, I feel organisation is the key to keeping on top of everything I have to do without stressing out. I've only been back to uni for just over a week but if feels as if I've been back for ages, weird. I already have billions of deadlines but I've made myself a nice colour coded deadline plan and calendar so I'm sure I'll get it all done on time :)

I know this is going to sound really generic but I am so obsessed with Beyonce's new album! I just can't get over how insane it is! I'm not going to lie, when I first listened to it I was a bit skeptical and overwhelmed because it is so different to her other stuff but it didn't take long for me to fall in love with it.
It's as if every time I listen to the album I fall in love with a new song. My current favourites are XO, Mine, Pretty Hurts, Heaven, Blue and of course Flawless. That is my tune! I swear every time it plays my body's natural reaction to just go into some crazy dance mode which I find very difficult to control in Public. When Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie does her little speech thing in the middle I just want to stand on a table and shout "Preach it sista!" Then When Beyonce is all like "You wake up, flawless..." I just loose it hahah!

On another note, people who know me or follow me on insta/twitter will probably know of my Pretty Little Liars obsession. Let's just say Tuesday is quickly becoming my favourite day of the week...
I will forever be on edge until I find out what Ezra is playing at. Just talking about him makes me feel uncomfortable become I had such a soft spot for him before he got all creepy and weird! I'm so jealous of people who live in the States and get to watch it 'real time'! Hopefully in tomorrows episode we'll start to get more answers and less questions. If anyone has any theories of what's going to happen then let me know, I'd love to read what you think :)

- Twenty 14 -

Shirt•Jumper•Jeans - Primark
Shoes - Boohoo

Hey Guys!

Today is my last Sunday at home before heading back up North & I thought I'd do a post.
I seem to keep wearing a lot of Primark and H&M these days but then again my wardrobe selection is very restricted since I didn't bring much back home with me from Uni. (Hence why my shoes and jewellery have been very repetitive in the past couple of posts!)

Anyhoo, I hope you all had a lovely new year! I can't wait to see what this year has in store for my blog and my life in general! This year is gonna be a big one and I'll continue to share part of my life, style and adventures on here.
Thank you to everyone who followed and supported me in 2013 and here's to a prosperous and successful 2014!!

Lots of Love,
Kudzai xoxo
